| Descriptions: Komárek (1992):Thallic, branched filaments; thallus irregular, flattened, endolithic, composed from free, irregularly disposed, tangled, branched filaments. Filaments unsheathed, but with wide, fine, colourless, difluent, sametime slightly visible, rarely brownish and limited mucilaginous envelopes. Trichomes uniserial, irregularly waved , more o less cylindrical or with slightly irregularly swollen cells, at the ends sametimes slightly widened, not constricted or constricted at cross walls; types of the true branching: T- type, pseudodichotomous V- type, reverse Y- type; trichomes sometimes irregularly barrelshaped, isodiametric or longer than wide, end cell rounded; cell content blue- green, homogeneous. Heterocytes and akinetes not known. |
